This should not discourage you from following suggestions by Andrewa & Muchness and following the deletion review procedure. Muchness ( talk) 09:11, 27 December 2007 (UTC) Reply Ĭomment: With regards to the proposed page move, I feel that no consensus to move will be reached here, nor will simply moving the page aid restoration, so I have removed the entry at WP:RM and the move template. For what it's worth, I oppose moving the article to main space at this time, because the article as currently written doesn't make a case for notability per WP:N and WP:WEB: there are no references to establish that the game has "received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject." If the game has received significant coverage in multiple reliable independent sources, this info should be added to the article with citations. Andrewa ( talk) 10:59, 25 December 2007 (UTC) Reply I agree, given the history surrounding this article, deletion review might be a better venue to discuss recreating it. Portuguese is one of the larger Wikipedias by article count, larger than Spanish or even Italian, I guess owing to the former colonies and particularly to Brazil. It's also interesting to note that Wikipedia:WikiProject Massively multiplayer online games/Article Archive contains links to only two archived articles, and the other archive has itself been deleted.Īnd I even had a look to see whether Portuguese Wikipedia had an article on this particular MMOG. Should this even be considered a move request? Or should it go to Wikipedia:Deletion review, or somewhere else? That's why admin assistance is now needed for this move. See Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Astro Empires for some background to this request.įollowing the decision to delete, the deleted page was recreated several times, speedy-deleted each time and finally, after no fewer than six deletions (most recently 8 October 2007) it was protected. Butch-cassidy ( talk) 00:16, 9 December 2007 (UTC) Reply Next week the game creator will be published in one of the largest newspapers in Portugal about the game. This week in the observatoriodo algarve Website, the largest regional News site in Algarve, Portugal the home of the game. The game now boasts over 34,000 players, 4 servers and has been published more than once. It is time that the article is moved back. We will keep an eye out for new any new details, so stay tuned for more updates. It has been a year since Astro Empires was deleted and moved here in preparation for an eventual return. The leaker claims to have accurately leaked previous recent Sony announcements, including the Housemarque acquisition and the date of the PlayStation Showcase, but there’s no way to verify the legitimacy of their claims here. This should always go without saying, but this should be taken with a grain of salt. They do, however, say that December’s PSX will be much larger in scope than the recent PlayStation Showcase, with Sony having allegedly held back several big announcements so they could instead focus on third party games as well. Meanwhile, Astro Bot developer Asobi Team also seems to be in the early stages of its new game’s development, so it’s worth asking whether it’ll be ready for an announcement in just a few months.Īlso on the docket, according to the leak, is the announcement of a game that has supposedly been in the rumour mill for a long time, but the leaker doesn’t mention what it is. It’s worth noting that previous reports have suggested that Sony no longer wants to focus on exclusive VR games, and instead wants its major AAA releases to also be playable in VR, so the mention of exclusive games for the new headset is a little interesting. The next-gen PSVR headset will also supposedly be revealed, alongside announcements for a new Astro Bot game, as well as a WipEout revival ( which has been previously rumoured as well), both of which will allegedly be PSVR exclusives. One of this is the formal reveal of a new studio that was set up in Japan, along with an announcement of what it’s working on. Over on Reddit, a user claims that Sony is planning a new PlayStation Experience event for December, for which several announcements are planned. Just last week, Sony lifted the lid on several major upcoming first and third party games in the PlayStation Showcase, which served as their primary event for announcements and updates for the year, but if a new rumour is to be believe, they might have much more up their sleeves that they’ll announce by the end of the year.
